Project Overview: The Fal Building is a landmark that marks the entrance to the city of Truro. It is a rhomboid on plan to suit the available site. The building features an atrium at each end to enable the centre of the building to be naturally lit and ventilated with an unusual rainwater system.
Added Value: Our in-depth knowledge of the regulations enabled proactive and detailed discussions with the design team and the Fire Authority allowing design solutions that satisfied all parties concerned.
Additional Comments: This addition to the Truro College Campus is designed for Higher Education students as part of the Combined Universities for Cornwall under the CUC2 initiative.
